
The University Dual Degree (UDID) program gives students the opportunity to earn two diplomas in two different majors within four years. Starting from the second year, a UDID student takes 11 specialized courses in their chosen second major and completes the corresponding practical training. Graduates of the program receive two diplomas in two different fields of study.
The Minor program is an educational program that allows students who meet the required criteria to earn a certificate in another field of study by completing a set number of credits in a major of their interest, enabling them to use this knowledge in their future professional career and pursue additional education.
Students who have completed their first year of UNEC bachelor's degree in the UDID program, and students from other universities in the Minor program.

UDID Program

Minor Program

- Application requirement: GPA 65–100
- Languages of instruction: Azerbaijani Russian English Turkish
- Fee: participation in the program is paid
The results obtained from the Minor Program are not included in the CGPA submitted for the scholarship competition.
The results of the Minor courses are not recorded on the diploma supplement or academic transcript of the first major. Students who graduate from the program are provided with an academic transcript for the Minor Program.
A student who takes an academic leave from their main specialty program is also considered on academic leave from their Minor Education Program and continues to participate in the Program upon their return.
A student is expelled from the Program if he/she fails to register for two consecutive semesters in Minor subjects without an excuse and his/her GPA in the first major falls below 60.
A student may enroll in only one “Minor Program in a Field of Specialization” during their undergraduate studies.
All credits under the Minor Program must be earned at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
Participation in the Minor Program is voluntary; therefore, the privileges do not apply.
A student can join the UDİD Program starting from the third semester of their studies.
A student can participate in the UDİD Program until they graduate from their primary major program.
A student may voluntarily withdraw from the UDİD Program. However, a student who withdraws cannot be reinstated in the Program.
A diploma for the UDİD Program is awarded to a student only on the condition that they graduate from their primary major.
A student can participate in the scholarship competition only for their primary major.
Students admitted to Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) with a score of 700 can study completely free of charge, while those admitted with a score above 600 can receive a 50% tuition discount.
The payment is determined based on the number of credits the student takes in the UDİD specialization and the tuition fee set per credit for that specialization. The maximum number of credits for the program is 60.
A student can enroll in only one of the UDİD or Minor programs. If a student discontinues the UDİD Program for any reason, they may continue their second field of study within the Minor Program, provided that they meet the required conditions.
A participant in the UDİD Program must be a UNEC student.
A student can participate in the UDİD Program in a language different from their own if they provide a document proving their foreign language proficiency or achieve a high score on the university’s foreign language exam.
