The department carries out financial accounting at the university, processes tuition fee settlements, calculates salaries and scholarships, and organizes procurement activities.
The Finance and Procurement Department was established on the basis of the former Finance and Accounting Department and the Procurement Unit, in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics dated 19 September 2014, taking into account the need to ensure a systematic organization of accounting, improve the efficiency of asset management, and ensure accurate recording of economic transactions in accounting registers.
The Finance and Procurement Department is responsible for organizing accounting for the University’s financial and economic activities, recording transactions related to the movement of inventory and cash assets, administering tuition fee settlements, calculating salaries of University employees and scholarships for students, organizing procurement processes, and performing other related functions.
